Rabies is an acute infectious disease mainly caused by rabies virus that invades the central nervous system. Rabies is mainly transmitted by infected dogs through bites. After different incubation periods, they eventually die of flaccid paralysis. The mortality rate is almost 100%. There is no effective drug treatment, and rabies vaccination is mainly used to prevent it. Rabies vaccination is an important measure to prevent the onset of the disease. High-risk groups are suitable for preventive injections in advance. The general population adopts post-exposure vaccination. If the bite is serious, high-titer immune serum should be injected for passive immunization.
